The International Institute for Multifunctional Materials for Energy Conversion (IIMEC) is an NSF-funded International Material Institute, recently established at Texas A&M University, in partnership with Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Houston and international research collaborators at Universities in North Africa, the Middle East, and Mediterranean countries.

The 2012 IIMEC Summer School will be organized by the Technological Education Institute of Serres, Greece, under the auspices of the National Science Foundation, USA.

The registration fee is 150 € and it can be paid upon arrival. It includes:

·         Accommodation in newly-built apartments within the Campus of TEI Serres

·         Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner (except drinks)

·         Coffee-breaks (Coffee – Tea – Juices – Snacks)

·         Transportation from and to the International Airport of Thessaloniki

·         Excursion to Alistrati’s Cave (on Saturday, July 7th 2012)

 

Financial support: A limited number of fellowships (for travel expenses) will be made available to qualified applicants. There will be two levels of fellowship: The 1st  level is 1200 $ (US) and the 2nd one is 600 $ (US).
